SFI – Lund

Lund SFI school offers individualized courses adapted to your previous experience and requirements. Eslövs folkhögskola runs SFI courses in Malmö, Lund and Eslöv.

Why should I study at Lund SFI school?

Our aim is to prepare you for further studies or work, and support you to reach your goals quickly by focusing on your individual needs and development.

  • Our SFI courses are available for SFI B, SFI C or SFI D.
  • All courses require 15 hours of study per week.
  • For SFI kombo dag, kväll and distans you will need an internet connection and a computer to participate.
  • We offer a range of study options to suit your preference:

SFI dag: In-person, on-site, interactive classes Monday to Friday 11:00–14:00. SFI Day is available for courses B, C and D.

SFI kombo dag: This flexible course combines in-person classes (minimum of 8h/week) held during the day with online assignments. Choose this course if you are used to studying independently and using digital learning platforms.

SFI kväll: in-person, on-site evening classes (4h/week) held twice a week, 17:30–19:30, together with your study group and teacher. In addition to 11 hours of online self-study.

SFI distans: You can choose online classes if you are used to self-study and have very good study habits and computer skills. Classes and instruction are almost entirely via distance learning, including remote classes (2h/week). Occasional in-person, on-site meetings in Lund (eg. individual counseling, National exam etc.).

Collaboration with Folkuniversitetet

Eslövs folkhögskola is the principal of the courses, conducts all education and has the right to grade for SFI. We collaborate with Folkuniversitet on SFI in Malmö and Lund, with well-educated teachers and modern premises. Eslövs folkhögskola was founded in 1897 and Folkuniversitetet in 1942 with the aim to meet society’s educational needs and our combined strengths give participants the best possible foundation.

SFI courses are an important step towards successful integration, which is why we place great importance on active participation and bringing people together through conversations. With dedicated teachers and individually tailored courses, we help students with strong digital and study skills to quickly reach a level of Swedish which will allow them to pursue further studies or employment.

Do you want to study SFI in Lund?

You have the right to personally choose your SFI school. If you want to study with us, you must actively register Lund SFI School as your school of choice through Lundavälkomsten.

After you’ve registered for Lund SFI school, we’ll contact you within one to two months. A teacher will assess your Swedish skills, and you’ll be placed in the course that suits you best.
